DocsDue Demo

Plainly

What DocsDue does and does not do

DocsDue is a hands-on demo on sample data. This page says exactly what this site does with what you see and send, and nothing more.

What the demo does

  • It holds 21 made-up sample cases covering common document-checking scenarios for a VAT quarter. Each is built from one of the product's own test fixtures, then put through the real checklist and API once on 15 October 2026 and recorded. Every visitor starts from the same recording.
  • You can act on each case: accept or reject a document, waive an item, answer a question, draft a chase and approve it. Each of those steps was recorded from the real API in advance, and your choice only picks which recording your tab shows. Reloading the page, or Reset demo, starts again.
  • Every finding says why a person is needed, in the checklist's own words. Nothing is accepted without a person.
  • Every chase message shows its proof chain: drafted, approved (who, when, and the fingerprint of the exact words), opened in Gmail, reported sent.

What it does not do

  • It never sends email. The demo has no mail connection at all: what you do never leaves your browser tab, and the buttons that would open a mailbox are switched off. In the product an approved message opens in your own Gmail or mail app, and you press Send; its only mail connection is a test stand-in that cannot reach a real address.
  • It does not touch real client data. Do not upload or type real client details anywhere on this site.
  • It is not deployed to any firm, no firm uses it, and it holds no certification or compliance accreditation.

What this site stores

  • Nothing from the demo. What you decide in it stays in your browser tab's memory and is gone when you reload or press Reset demo. The one thing the demo can keep is on your own device: its keyboard-shortcut setting, if you use that switch (see the cookies page).
  • If you send the pilot form, and only when the operator has switched it on and set up storage: your name, firm, work email, message, the time you sent it and the version of the privacy notice you read. Nothing deletes it automatically: the operator deletes requests by hand. See the privacy notice.

What it logs, and what it does not

  • For each request: the method, the address on this site, the response code and how long it took. Not your IP address, and not what you typed into the form.
  • To slow abuse it counts requests per address in memory. That count is never written down and is gone when the site restarts.
  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing is loaded from any other website. The site's hosting provider may keep its own short-lived access logs, as web hosts do.

What the sample covers
